Patients find their way to our door by many different means. In my practice many are referred to me by other patients which is very satisfying. I always keep your GP informed with your consent. It helps me get a better picture of your medical history and therefore any underlying medical issues that I need to be aware of. If you do not want your GP to be informed, we do of course respect that decision.

At consultation, you will be fully informed of all the risks, benefits and possibly outcomes. It is essential you are fully consented and informed before any surgery or treatment. This includes both the physical and psychological aspects. If I do not think surgery is appropriate, I will not proceed. If you have any doubts, you should not proceed. In any case, you will not be pressurised to go ahead. I do not adopt the approach taken by some clinics who rush people into surgery before they are totally comfortable with the process or the possible outcome. This can only lead to unhappy patients and potential problems.

I use exceptional private hospitals and my secretary Jackie has been part of my practice for many years. As such, you will find you are very well looked after at every step of the way. You will be informed what to do before and after surgery. You will be informed of fees, where to go and when. Your welfare and well-being is our primary concern, every step of the way.
